One year ago today...

One year ago today, I had just gone through 10 days of shots, had bruises on my tummy and leg to prove it and ultrasounds every other day for a week to check my ovaries.

One year ago today, I was so bloated from ovaries that produced over 25 eggs that I looked 4 months pregnant.

One year ago today, I wrote a BIG $$check$$ to FIRM, not knowing whether IVF was going to work or not, but had to give the $$ anyway, no refunds!

One year ago today, I was sitting in the doctors office, called back, and sedated.

One year ago today, I had my eggs retreived, all 28 of them, to try and make a baby.

One year ago today, Dr. Duffy assured me that this would work!

One year ago today, Clay and I, along with many family and friends, were praying for a miracle. They knew that we wanted to be parents so bad! They wanted the difficult journey of becoming one to be over as much as we did.

One year ago today, after I left the doctor, I sat at home waiting on the phone call from the doctor to tell us how many eggs actually made it and were fertilized!

One year ago today, I had no idea I'd be sitting here writing this, mommy to a sweet baby girl!

I can't believe that it's already been a year. It doesn't seem possible!!! I'm glad that it's over and pray for a miracle that we don't have to go through it again. But, I would!
