Another one of those...

One year ago today, July 31st, I found out I was pregnant!

Short story...
Clay and I were on a mini-vacation in Daytona Beach. My bloodwork was on Wednesday, Aug. 1st, but I just HAD to be prepared for the results, so I took a home pregnancy test! Clay and I had discussed it and he didn't really want me to do it - he told me if I did it, he didn't want to know! When I woke up that morning, I tested and it immediately came up positive. I wanted to scream...but waited! I got my shower and as I left the bathroom, I left the test on the sink where I knew Clay would see it when he walked in. He did and came out of the bathroom and said, "are you for real?". It was a sweet moment - we just hugged and I cried. I was in complete shock!

We decided we weren't going to tell anyone until after my bloodwork, but that didn't last long. We could NOT hold it in! So, we eventually called everyone (except for my daddy and family because they were on a cruise,..we told them as soon as we could!).

Now - here we are, 4 months after giving birth, so proud to be parents!
