take care of a 5 month old while being sick. Thank goodness for Clay, my mom, and my granny for helping me out.
I haven't been sick like this in...a very long time. It started Saturday evening, then went away, and then Sunday evening I felt the same way - achy body and just feeling weak. Then, Monday I had a headache all day. Thank goodness Clay was off so I could just chill on the couch. Monday night I started to feel worse - plus started having the chills. And yep, you guessed it I had a fever - 101.6. That lasted throughout the night...a vicious cycle I tell you.
2 hours of chills (where I literally was hurting I was so cold (from the inside out) and was covered in at least 4 blankets and the air was set above 80 - and if you know me...I'm ALWAYS hot)
Fever spikes to between 100-101
Fever breaks
2 hours of sweats (and I mean literally my clothes, hair, and sheets were WET from it - disgusting, I know)
Then..it starts all over again.
Dealt with that ALL night monday night and ALL day yesterday.
All the while battling with an aweful headache and tummy issues. Not fun.
Finally after having a fever about 7:30 last night and then getting rid of it, I didn't have another one and my headache subsided a little bit. Slept much better last night. Feeling a little better today - still weak and STILL have tummy issues. Ugh! Hopefully I'm on the mend and can get to orientation for work tomorrow - I'm missing it today.
Please pray that Clay or my sweet Reese doesn't catch anything from me. I haven't done much with her the last 2 days so hopefully she didn't catch it. Clay's done excellent with his night feedings with absolutely no help from me, I was pretty much dead to the world - I was quite impressed!
Well, now that you know about my life the last few days,...I'll catch up with a picture post from Labor Day later. I did manage to get a few pictures.

Sounds like bad stuff! Hope you're feeling better and your work orientation is going smoothly!
