Jackpot!

I love, love, love smocked clothing for girls - but, it is so expensive! Reese really doesn't have any because I can't afford them, but I ALWAYS look at them on EBAY and even scored a few good deals for next years wardrobe. Can't wait for her to wear them!

I heard about the 'smocked clothing warehouse sale' in Jacksonville and have had it on my calendar for about 2 months now. I was so excited - wasn't sure if it was good deals or not (the flyer didn't specify) but it was worth checking out.

Moma and I headed up there early this morning (we overheard one lady say she had camped out at 4AM to get in first - we didn't get there until about 10AM - they opened at 9AM) - boy, am I glad I went. The dresses were $30 - most of which originally were $70-$80. I'm assuming it's 'last year's leftovers' but who cares?

I told myself I would only spend $100 there no matter what. I was glad I put myself on a limit because I really could've gone a little overboard. I bought 3 dresses - one for christmas, one for her 1st bday, and one for next summer. They are TOO CUTE!

In other totally random news...

**We have started giving Reese a bath at night, most of the time, and 2 nights this week we put a gown on her. She usually just sleeps in a onesie (she is hot-temperatured like her moma!) but, we thought we'd change it up a bit. Made me kinda said because it reminded me of when she was really little and that's all she slept in it. She looked like a complete angel in them so I, of course, had to snap a few pictures...

Tell me she doesn't look like Clay in this one? Spittin' image!

**I gave her applejuice in a sippy cup for the first time this week. She really did seem to know how to suck it but can't quite hold it on her own yet. I'm gonna try it again in a few weeks.

**She is still doing REALLY well eating her cereal and applesauce. This afternoon, I'm introducing pears - we'll see.
She usually eats about 2 tbls of cereal and 1/2 container of applesauce 2x per day. I think it's finally helping her sleep - at night. She's slept really good the last few nights. Naps are a different story - Clay is currently trying to get her to lay down.

**On the napping subject, 30 is her magic number. I swear she has a clock somewhere and always takes EXACTLY 30 minute naps - not 25, not 35...30. Seriously. It's funny...not really...especially when you want her to take a good 2 hour nap in the afternoon. Not so funny then.

That's it for now. Have a lovely weekend.
