My little Reese is 5 months old today. I can hardly believe it. I know I say I can't believe it each month on her 'monthly birthday' but I truly can't.
Five things I LOVE about being a mommy to Reese..
1. I love to hear her laugh. It completely melts my heart. Especially now that she's got a 'belly laugh'...She laughs at the silliest stuff - sometimes when you least expect it.
2. I love to see her smile. Sometimes she'll be playing by herself and when I look down just to check on her, she'll be staring at me and then give me the BIGGEST smile. Such a big smile that it looks like her face might break.
3. I love that sometimes she only wants her mommy. Whether it be because I have the bottle in my hand or she just wants some 'mommy cuddle time'...I'll take it!
4. I love dressing her up. If you notice in all her pictures this girl's ALWAYS got a bow in her hair. It's just something I've always dreamed about and now my dream has come true. I love going through her closet and 'planning' her wardrobe. okay, maybe that's a little over the top! Clay always tells me she's gonna grow up and want nothing to do with a bow - but for now when she has no say-so, it's staying put!
5. I love watching her with her daddy. She certainly has him wrapped around her little finger. I know they will grow up and have a special bond - a bond that only daddy's and daughter's can have. He is so in love with her - it's amazing to watch. And he's really shown his good daddy skills over the last couple days with me being sick.
Reese on her 5 month birthday...
She thought the paper looked mighty good...and had to have a taste!
Don't worry, we took it away from her soon after this picture was taken..
