Well, our sweet girl has jaundice and has been set up on home photo therapy since Monday night. Her levels were at 20.3 on Monday - which is really high. So, they sent out a nurse about midnight Monday night to set us all up. Reese had also lost some weight - 5 lbs. 13 oz - down from 6 lbs 10 oz at birth.
Tuesday - nurse came to check weight and levels again.
Weight: 5 lbs. 14 oz
Levels: 20.1
New instructions: No breastfeeding, formula feed while still sitting on the lights. We are not to take her off until nurse returns the next day. (Boy, that was hard - I didn't hold her for over 12 hours!)
Wednesday - nurse came to check weight and levels.
Weight: 6 lbs. 1 oz (YAHOO!!)
Levels: 16.1 - down 4 whole points. Levels need to be between 11 and 13 to take off of photo therapy completely.
New instructions: I can nurse again, but supplement with .5 oz after done nursing for 15 minutes.
Thursday - nurse will be back tonight to check on her. I'll update when I can!

Glad to see an update.....I haven't come to see her...called, your Mom said you guys were sleeping alot....I'll try and come by Friday or Monday? Don't want to disturb sunning baby :)
Glad to hear she is doing better. I cant believe that you could not hold her for that long. I dont know if I would have be able to do it!
