Sorry, it's been a while. I hadn't uploaded recent pictures from my camera until this morning - and what's a post without any pictures, right?
Reese had many 'FIRST'S' this weekend including:
Saturday:
Reese's first trip to the mall. She was GREAT! She slept just about the whole time - only waking up once to eat. Mommy needed some new clothes and came home with some GREAT deals!
I also gave her a bath by myself for the first time today. It wasn't hard and she enjoyed it. She's just so slippery when I take her out - it scares me everytime!
Sunday:
Reese's first trip to church. She was awake at home all morning while we got ready and on the way to church so I thought she'd sleep through the whole service. NOT! She wasn't fussy or loud - she just was very interested in what was going on. She ate a bottle - quietly, thank goodness - and burped - quietly, again! (Mind you, at home, she is a VERY noisy eating and VERY noisy burper!) Of course, she was 'ooohed' and 'aahed' over - because she's just beautiful! I was proud to show her off. She, of course, wore a pretty dress - one of her new ones!
Here's a picture:
Okay, so let's see...
Monday, Reese and I hung out around the house all morning until lunch and then went to Pappaw and Nona's house for the afternoon. I also got Reese's picture proofs and OH. MY. GOODNESS. they are SO good. I'm going to have a time picking out ones to order, one to put in the paper, and ones for the birth announcements (which our dear friend Vivian is doing - www.myprintedmemories.com).
Tuesday, we got ready early and headed to Folkston to my favorite store, Heaven to Seven (you've got to go if you've never been). It's a little boutique on Main Street in Folkston, GA that has the PRETTIEST clothes. All the dresses/outfits with smocking, monogrammed everything, and cutest shoes. I found Reese a new outfit to wear to church (or the wedding on Saturday, I can't decide) and I had to buy a preemie size and also some shoes (this girl has tons of shoes, none of them fit yet) and the shoes are also preemie - but they are gorgeous! I'll post a picture when she wears it! Then, Nona, Reese, and I headed to OP Mall to return some things that didn't fit to Belk and Penney's. Of course, I had to replace the items I took back so it turned into an all afternoon trip! We were happy to be home and relax for the rest of the evening.
Clay is working a new schedule at work so we're all having to get used to that. He goes in later and works later. He also closes on Friday and Saturday - which I personally think STINKS! But, he's the one bringing home the money so that I can stay at home with Reese next year. I'm so thankful for a hard-working husband. As I type, he's outside working on the yard and has been since 10:00 this morning.
Oh, and another first:
This morning I took out one of Reese's activity mats and she was intrigued by it all. She layed there just listening to the music and staring at everything for a good 20 minutes. I captured some great pictures!

I've got some more cute randome pictures from the last couple of days, but since I've already rambled on enough and written a book - I'll save them for another day that's not so full of updates!
