Busy day and a good night's sleep....

Yesterday, we had a busy day - but, as usual Reese was an angel!

We left the house about 9:30 to pick up moma and granny to head to Jacksonville. I had a bag full of stuff to take back to Babies R Us and we were looking for material for new curtains for my kitchen.

My bag full of 'take-backs' included bottles that I registered for but Reese didn't like! She leaked everywhere! I registered for the Avent brand and thank goodness I took some advice and didn't open all the packages - only one! She is now doing very well with the Playtex Nurser Drop-Ins. She's such a good eater - she should have no problem gaining the weight she needs! So, we got to Babies R Us and returned the bottles and of course I had to shop. Reese has very few outfits that fit her. She has plenty of onesies! So, I went looking for newborn outfits. I found several and the Carter's brand seems to fit her best - and they were all Buy One, Get One 50% Off!! YAY! She got 6 new outfits yesterday! They're already in the washer.

We headed to JoAnn's and found some material. I'm re-doing my kitchen in an orange, lemon, and lime theme (*not really fruits - but I love the bright colors*). I've been searching for months for curtains, but couldn't find any. So, my granny said she would make some. So, we bought bright yellow gingham material - it's going to look so good!

We headed home, had a nice visit with Tara, and then went to Mimi's and Grandaddy's for Micah's birthday dinner. While we were gone, Reese slept most of the time, so I was so afraid she wouldn't sleep last night. But...she did! I fed her and put her down in her cradle about 10:45 and she slept until about 3AM!!! Woohoo! She was a little restless after that, so she slept with me the rest of the night. I was quite lazy this morning, so we cuddled/slept on the couch until about 10:00am. I finally got motivated to get up and get a shower to get the day started. Now, Reese is sleeping soundly - I've eaten lunch and now updating the blog.

I snapped a few pictures yesterday while we were getting ready. I put her in her crib and turned on the Ocean Wonders aquarium - she was mesmerized! She stayed there while I finished getting things together to leave. It was great!
