Weekend Vacay :)

On Thursday we loaded up the truck and headed to the lake for the weekend. We were SO looking forward to some down time, some sun time, some water time, and most importantly some FAMILY time. We were there Thursday and Friday by ourselves and Friday night through Sunday, my daddy, mom, Lindsey and Wesley were there. Reese wore herself out every day and slept good at night - still waking us up BEFORE 7, ready to start the day!

Yes, I packed my camera, but no I didn't get more than one picture. I was too busy getting my sun on to worry about having the camera outside. The memories are forever stuck in my head though, we had a fabulous weekend! Reese loves rides on the jet-ski, loves making sandcastles in the 'dirt', loves putting 'seaweed monsters' on your leg, face, back, etc, loves when you swim with her, even though when she cant touch the ground and gets too deep she begs for you to "take me back, too deep", loves eating popsicles outside, loves washing her feet off all by herself before walking inside, loves Aunt Lindsey's dog, Cooper and makes sure he stays full by dropping food on the floor just for him, loves early morning fishing with her daddy, loves her Dora life jacket, loves her family who is just CRAZY about her!

Each EARLY morning, Clay would take Reese out to fish. What a sweet daddy/daughter moment, huh?

We are super glad to be home and back in our routine but we are also dreading going back to work. We are already counting down to July 4th weekend - our next lake trip :)

Okay - that header pic of Reese makes her look so grown up. Seriously - She is so precious and so much loved by so many people. Love the post but wish there were more pics...but understand that a camera is not always convienent around water. Love ya.
