Memorial Day Weekend....

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the lake, along with 20 other people in the same house, and we had THE BEST TIME! Reese absolutely loves the water and playing in the sand/dirt on the shore. We also found out this weekend that she loves taking boat and jet ski rides - and they often put her to sleep :)





Reese also learned something this weekend - how to float on her back and her tummy. This was a big step for her because the past few weekends she's not wanted to go ANYWHERE in the water that her feet doesn't touch - she likes CONTROL! With her lifejacket on, she finally took the plunge and let her feet come off the ground and realized she was OKAY! She was SO proud of her learning how to float, she told everyone who could listen. And everyone with eyes had to be watching her. Before we know it, she'll be floating without the lifejacket - swim lessons in our future? I think so!





Her cousin, Chloe was her buddy this weekend. Chloe is SO sweet with her and really loves to play. Of course, Reese loves the attention from anyone older :)



We are planning to spend several days at the lake the middle of June, maybe after that week, we'll have ourselves a full blown swimmer :) Who knows?!

We're so thankful for Poppy and Gamee letting us come down whenever we like. It makes the summer that much more enjoyable and Reese looks forward to going again and again!
