As we were walking out the door to the Splash Park today, I was busy getting things together and yelled at Reese "let's go bye-bye". She immediately ran to her room, got a red sock, and was ADAMENT about me putting it on her. Ugh, that meant I had to put down everything in my hand, and put on a sock....a sock, for crying out loud. But, to Reese, it was important...
So, the red sock was on, I loaded my arms back up and headed out the back door. Before I could even get out the door, Reese came running back into the kitchen. This time, with a YELLOW sock! And it HAD to be put on. She sat down to try and do it herself, but no such luck. So, I again put down all my things and helped put this silly item on!
And look how happy it made her...
But, you know what? As soon as we pulled into the pool parking lot, those socks came flying off! She's smart enough to know that socks do NOT belong in the pool!

This is the good stuff!!! Roman wore Spiderman mittens to church one Sunday when he was 2, in the Summer! One thing I've learned, pick & choose your battles! You're a good mommy Jobeth!
How funny!! It's cracks me up how much they know already at the tender age of 1.
Ok I can't thank you enough for your comment on my blog. Your inspiring words about your husbands battle with cancer are exactly what I needed to hear. Especially because every dr is so surprised at how young my husband is, so it is nice to see that there are other young men out that there that do not have colon cancer in their family but have been diagnosed. I am definetly keeping your email because my husband has had lots of questions and really we have no one we know that has experienced it to turn to. Thank you for reaching out to us, i truly do appreicate it. Your daughter is precious and has the most beautiful eyes! God bless your beautiful family!
so funny jobeth, she is hilarious! abd she looks tan in that last pic!
That is too funny! Whatever it takes to make them happy, as long as it is safe, let 'em do it!
that's so funny. Already making fashion statements. :)
She is so cute!
That's hilarious!! At least it wasn't a war with trying to get it off her at the pool... she knew that would just look ridiculous! haha :)
