Gotta get yourself some of THIS!

Or rather, get the ingredients at the store and make this yourself...

Key Lime Pie (it's so easy and YUMM-O)

Ingredients:
1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust (rub with an egg white and bake for 5 minutes @ 375)
1 c sweetened condensed milk
6 egg yolks
1/2 pint (which I found out equals 8 oz) soft vanilla ice cream
1/2 c lime juice

1. Add yolks to milk and beat 8 minutes
2. Add ice cream and beat
3. Add lime juice and mix well
4. Fold into pie shell
5. Place in freezer (as I learned this weekend, it would probably be better when it freezes over night)
6. Top with whipped topping

Prior to this weekend, I had never had any desire to taste key lime pie. Even when I made the first pie for Sunday lunch, I didn't even take a bite. But, for my second pie, Sunday evening, I was convinced after hearing everyone's moaning and groaning over it. And now I'M HOOKED!

Guess what I'll be bringing to the next family gathering? You got that right - no more Mrs. Edward's pies for me. This girls making it homemade :)

Try it. It's simple goodness.
