Random, Random, Random

We (as in Reese and I) have been feeling yucky the last few days - hence no blog post! We're finally on the mend, thank goodness. We both had a bit of a cold and it really knocked me out a few nights in a row. I'd wake up feeling okay and then get better through the day but at night it'd hit me like a truck. Clay was a wonderful husband and daddy and took care of the nightly stuff for Reese. I took Reese to the doctor yesterday - being the over-paranoid, over-protective mother that I am - just in case she was in fact sick, or it was moving to her ears. Of course, yesterday she didn't act sick at all. But, we still took her. Perfect. Nothing wrong with her. She did weigh in at almost 17 pounds though!

Today, we're both finally feeling much better. Neither she nor I are near as stuffy as we were, thank goodness! I can blow my nose or clear my throat, but poor Reese doesn't know how to so it just sits there and makes her miserable. In 8 months, this is the first time she's come down with anything, and it was just a minor cold. Thank you Jesus for keeping her well!

Now, that I'm done with our health updates. I'll post some cutie pictures from the last few days.

Last night, Reese chomped on a piece of bread while Clay and I ate. She had such a grip on it and is also learning to 'chew' on food instead of sucking on it.


Reese getting kisses from her daddy and loving it. I love to hear her laugh! She's also in her cutie pie Christmas PJs...I tried getting pictures of them - she wanted NO part in that. They have Santa's on the bottoms and then it say's "I'm Santa's Best Gift" on the front. They're too cute on her!


That's as good as I could get :)
