Clay and I are heading to Orlando this weekend after work on Friday. I’ll share more when we get back, but keep us in your prayers. We are at the VERY beginning of a new journey and this weekend will be overwhelming but informational.
I am looking forward to 2 days with just Clay and I. We plan to do some relaxing and some…just whatever we want. Orlando has lots to offer!
This weekend is coming at the perfect time. My heart is hurting today…as strong as I thought I was being, I’m not. I know it’s okay to be sad and to grieve, I know that. My mind has been distracted over the last week or so, but getting back to the grind is hard. Hard because I have time to think and time for my heart to react to all the new announcements and new babies being born. Time for my heart to hurt.
I’m trying to work through it and trying not to ask God, “why? why in the world are WE having to go through this? WHY WHY WHY?” but I can’t help it.
I’m excited for our new journey. I know it doesn’t promise to be any easier, but it is part of our story. The story that the Lord is writing for us.
