Two Years Ago Today...

I held my sweet miracle baby in my arms for the first time. I kissed her forehead for the first time. I looked into her eyes for the first time. I witnessed a miracle in my own life for the first time. I became a mommy for the first time to my Reese Taryn.

Today, we celebrated your second birthday, Reese. The last two years have been such a blessing, such a sweet time and such a fun time! We have made so many memories as a family of three and have many more memories to make! I love that you love me no matter what - no matter if I give you what you want or spank you for disobeying. I pray each day that I would be an example to you of self-giving, self-sacrificing love and commitment.

You are the LIGHT of our life and we couldn't imagine our life without you - in fact, we can't remember what we did before you were born. Thank you for being you, thank you for loving us, thank you for what you've helped us become, my Reesey-cup.

We love you more than you know - to the moon and back. I pray each day that the Lord would mold you and shape you for HIS Glory! I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for your life - you're going to do BIG things, my sweet girl. BIG things, you just wait!

I'll do an 'official two year post' later this week with stats, updates and of course pictures of her birthday :) Reese shares a birthday with her GREAT GREAT grandmother, who turned 90 today so we celebrated with her. I have many special memories and pictures to share with you as soon as I edit them all.
