Easter Happenings

Yes, I realize I'm going a bit out of order, Dr appt, Easter, then Birthday...but, I've got so many pictures from her birthday, it's kind of overwhelming and I don't know where to start. So I'm editing a few at a time...bear with me, I promise I'll get to it all! :)

This was our poor attempt at a family picture using the self-timer on the camera. I had all intentions of asking someone to take it with a prettier background, but our day got crazy, busy really fast!


The next two pictures were taken by my sister, Lindsey and they are my absolute favorite. So much so that as soon as she emailed them to me, I ordered 8x10's of them each and they're hanging in my living room already.



We spent lunch with Poppy and Gamee this year at my grandmother's house. We had some delicous food and enjoyed some family time the rest of the afternoon. It was mostly spent outside chatting and watching Reese and Chloe play on the swing set. Reese's cousins, Drew and Caleb came over for the egg hunt. Reese loved hunting eggs this year - I brought eggs with candy in them and Gamee put money in hers! Reese got so excited each time she found an egg and couldn't wait to get it open to see what was inside!




After leaving my grandmothers, we stopped at Granny and Papa's house to spend the evening with them and other family that were in town still from Nana's birthday party from the day before. By the time we hit the pillow that night, we were exhausted.

Praise the Lord for HE IS RISEN :) As busy as the day was, we can't forget WHY we are celebrating.
