Happy FIRST Birthday Reese!

My dear sweet baby,

I can hardly believe that I'm writing this letter to you on your first birthday. All my life all I EVER wanted to become was a wife and mommy. I married your daddy, my first love, and then longed for a child. Your daddy and I had some time enjoying each other and prayed we would know exactly the right time to bring a child into our family. It didn't come easy for us, but the Lord taught us so many things along the way. You made our family of two into a family of three and now, we couldn't imagine our lives without you. You are now a year old and I am still amazed everyday that the Lord would choose to bless us with you, Reese Taryn Vanzant.
Reese, we pray for you everyday that you would love Jesus with your whole heart and live to serve Him. We also pray that our lives will be an example to you!
This year has been full of firsts and simply amazing. We thank Jesus that He allowed us to be YOUR mommy and daddy. We look forward to the next year to see what's in store. Everyday is a new adventure with you. We love you more than you'll ever imagine.
