edited to add: After looking at the pictures, the green is MUCH brighter in person, it looks so dull in the pictures!

My house, or at least a few rooms, are getting a makeover!

First up: Painting!
We're painting the living room and kitchen green - they were SUPPOSED to be 2 different, yet complimentary, shades of green, but due to a screw up during the mixing, they are the same. Not what I initially wanted, but it looks good. Thankfully, since we didn't realize it until we were doing the last bit of the second coat. :)

During the process, my house was a WRECK! Thankfully, there was an end in sight!

The green is so 'spring-y' and happy and I love it! Can't wait to spruce it up even more with new accent pillows and curtains!

Over the next two weeks, I'll be getting new floors, too. Thanks to the formula stains in my carpet, I'll be getting wood floors in the living room and hallway and while we're at it, we're also putting down tile in the kitchen. I can't wait - it'll feel like a new house :)
