Does this happen to anyone else?
Clay and I got to go on a date this week. We went to a seafood place on the river and it was good.
But, we found that even though we didn't have Reese, we talked about her the ENTIRE time - it was like we didn't want to talk about anything else.
How could you resist not talking about this sweet thing...
And, when the waitress came to see if we needed anything else,...we realized we were done and had completely stuffed ourselves...all in under 10 minutes. We didn't even realize we were doing it until it was done. We have trained ourselves to eat fast - just in case Reese needs us - but she wasn't even there!
Please tell me this happens to other parents! I know it does....

Yeah, we do it too. We rarely go out on dates bc we just hate leaving Owen. So we have our date nights at home after he goes to sleep. :)
But when we do go out we talk about O the whole time. I trained myself to watch for that so that I can change the subject. Not that we don't love to talk about him, but sometimes we need some "adult" talk too. lol
Totally! It does get a little better as she gets older...but not much!
We do the same thing! I think as they get older you DO enjoy the silence a bit more :)
