*I had to check my blog to see the last time I wrote a post…it’s been too long and I’m absolutely overwhelmed on what I have to catch up on. Here goes nothing…..*
I honestly don’t even remember the beginning of October. Evidently nothing specific happened because my calendar seems bare and my pictures are even more few and far between. Just the same ole same ole – school, dance, church, work, sleep and repeat.
*On October 20, Reese’s preschool took a field trip to our local Corn Maze. It was the perfect fall day – cool weather and cool breeze! Just enough to break out the sweatshirts and jeans!
*Next up was the Callahan Fair on Friday night the 21st. We packed up and headed out with some of our favorites, the Buchanan’s and Halee and Michael. It was a cool night, but again, perfect weather for the fair. Reese was fearless on the rides and even though her fingers were ICE cold after every ride, it didn’t slow her down! She ended the night asleep in the stroller from all the fun!
*We sure did get MUCH use out of her Halloween costume this year. Starting with her Dance Party on Tuesday, the 25th. It was so sweet to see Reese and her friends dressed up and absolutely EXCITED to see each other’s costumes.
*The CUTEST Strawberry Shortcake around*
*The very next night, Kristin and I put together a Halloween Costume Party for the preschoolers at church. We had pumpkin bowling, a few crafts and some yummy snacks.
*Finally, the annual Halloween Hayride at Ann and Big Dave’s. I rushed there after work to dress Reese and hop on the hayride. I snapped a few pics but the rest are courtesy of Halee and Kari. Thanks gals! There was a plethora of costumes adorned that night….from Gator football player to Adam and Eve.

*I think that about wraps up our month – probably missed a few here and there but, oh well. Oh yeah, I did celebrate a birthday in there. The big 2-7. Celebrated several times with family and friends and shopping ALONE with birthday money. I’m thankful for sweet family and friends to celebrate with. Each time sweet memories were made even though pictures weren’t taken.
Now, it’s time to buckle our seat belts and hold on for the busy months of November and December. I’m looking forward to all the fun that happening!
