I probably should blog, shouldn't I?

Yep, we're still alive and kickin around here in the Vanzant household. Nothing really exciting going on - just the same ole same ole around here. Work, play, sleep. Do it over again the next day.

Let's see if I can go through my pictures and update you all a little on our lives over the last month or so (since I really haven't blogged anything significant)...bullet point style!

*In July, my sister Carlee graduated from UNF. Very proud of her accomplishments - she was the kind of student any professor would have liked to have in their class! Next up: wedding bells will be ringing :)


*Carlee also had her very first wedding shower and got so many nice things! Makes me want to get married all over again (to Clay, of course) so I get all the latest and greatest. Carlee did much research before registering so everything she received is perfect for her! She's got her and Jared's apartment all decorated and ready for December!



*Reese is now 'cheesing' for the camera. She knows exactly what to do when mommy puts that camera in her face (which I've been slacking alot lately on getting the camera out. I must do better!).



*HAIR and BOW is now in our vocabulary together! Reese's hair is finally showing some growth, thank goodness. We still can't tell what color it's going to be - sometimes it's reddish, sometimes it's blondish, and sometimes it's a combo!


*We had a playdate last week with Heather, Ava, and Bella. I love to sit back and watch Reese play with her friends. It's so much fun to see how much they interact, or don't even pay each other attention.

At one point, they were taking turns pushing each other on the ride-on toy. It was so cute. And of course, when it was naptime and time for them to go home, we found them in the playroom playing so sweetly together. We'll get them together again soon!



*Here's two sweet videos of our Reese lately. She never ceases to amaze us at how smart she is! She certainly keeps us on our toes and keeps us movin and wondering what she's going to do next. I may be partial, but I'm pretty sure she's the smartest 16 1/2 month old around :)

*Reading, reading, and more reading!
*Carrying purse, keys, and cell phone every where she goes.
*Taking the baby stroller for a stroll all day around the house.
*She's a pretty fast runner and runs from us when she gets the chance. And gets the biggest kick out of it!
*She can now open drawers and doors. Oh my! Our toothbrushes take a daily stroll around the house with Reese.
*Everyday is a new adventure with our Reese Taryn and we are lovin making the memories with her!
