A FUN time was had by all...

For 3 days, we were able to get away from it all and take a mini-vacation to the lake. My daddy and mom were already planning on being down there. Ben, Kristin, Noah, and Anna (Sara stayed with her Grammy!) packed up and headed down with us. And we were super excited to find out that Hollie was staying at her mother-in-laws place just down the road so she, Matt, and Kate hung out with us during the day, as well. Brandon, Kasey, and their girls came to the house Sunday, also. We had a BLAST just hanging around the house and down at the lake, and of course, just being together.

Our weekend consisted of a little sleep, alot of food, and alot of sunshine! Thankfully, the rain stayed away for most of the weekend and we were able to enjoy the lake as it should be! Reese did FANTASTIC and slept good both nights, too. She was up with the sun, but that's no different from home.

I think the pictures of the weekend will recap perfectly the super fun, relaxing weekend that we had.

The little ones by the shore (by the way, there is supposed to be a beach front, but because of all the rain, the water was REALLY high! Which made for a gooey lake front!). And Reese finally wanted to get in the water on the LAST day, RIGHT before we went in to pack up and go. Go figure!
