A quote from Dr. Kim that we heard several times today while at Reese's 9 month checkup. She has no idea - that child is SO busy! She wouldn't sit still and I assured Dr. Kim, that is how she ALWAYS is! She's like the energizer bunny, I swear!
The appointment went good. Dr. Kim is so sweet and we just love getting to see her. Everything checked out PERFECT (we already knew that!) with Reese.
Her stats:
Weight: 18 lbs, 6.5 oz (30th percentile)
Height: 27 inches (25th percentile)
So, in otherwards, she small, but perfectly proportional!
That weight meant that we have to turn her carseat back around. Ugh! But, maybe she'll hit 20 lbs by the time she turns 1. We'll see! {I swear on my scale, she was 20 lbs...I should've known, no scale is alike!}
Dr. Kim was still concerned over Reese's sleeping habits. But, after seeing how busy she was, it was obvious she just has THAT much energy that keeps her awake. She was concerned about me being tired, and I am, but, that's what being a mommy is all about!
She also said she'd probably be walking in the next month or so. Which is SO hard for me even to grasp. I'm in complete denial that my baby is growing up.
Of course, you can't go to the doctor without a shot. Thankfully, it was just 2 shots this time. I gave her some Tylenol before bed, so hopefully the fever will STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!
I took some pictures today, surprise, surprise, right?
On the way in her new red pea coat and hat! She now matches her mommy with her red coat!
It's hard entertaining a 9 month old, who just wants to crawl everywhere and stick everything in her mouth. Snacks were her best friend during our wait for Dr. Kim.

OK, so what shots did Reese need to get. Olivia didn't need any shots last week only a hemoglobin finger prick for iron. I agree with your DR that the reason Reese and Olivia has trouble sleeping is because they are so busy. I know that is Olivia's problem.
I love Dr. Kim, she is always so sweet and so good. She's the only reason why we go to that office. :o) I see you took pics of a naked baby while you waited. lol I always hate that part. I wrap Story in a blankie while we wait... :o)
BTW you should have your picture taken with Reese and the matching coats! :o)

I miss Dr. Kim!!! Yes I am all too familiar with a busy child... Reese is probably too young but we always take crayons to the doctor to color on the white paper..usually it's me coloring what Noah wants me to color. I love Reese's coat & hat!! TOO CUTE that child!
