I really have nothing to say today, but I do have some super cute pictures to share with you all.
Enjoy!
Helping with the dishes.
Reese has now decided that sitting up isn't too bad. For a while, she wanted NOTHING to do with it. But, slowly, she's getting to be a pro at it. I've noticed in the last few days, she learning to go from a standing position to sitting on her bottom!
And she loves her sippy cup. If it gets in her sight, you better be ready to give her some juice! She still hasn't gotten the hang of sippy it while the 'spill proof' thing is in it - so we have to remove it for it to 'free flow'. Which makes a mess, but she's learning.
Reese loves her Nona!
And her Pappaw!
Banana w/ Mixed Berries was on the menu this morning for breakfast. She really enjoyed it.
She's still not into the veggies right now, but we're working on it. I think I'm going to have to make my own - anyone have experience with that? Let me in on yor secrets. I'm scared to try it - opening up the container is much easier!
She also had 'Biter Biscuits' for the first time this weekend - which was very messy but she enjoyed it. And a piece of banana that she enjoyed gnawing on.
Her teeth are still bothering her - she goes from happy to crying in a matter of seconds when I know she's not wet or hungry. So, it must be her teeth. I *THINK* the left top tooth has come through - she wasn't very still when I was trying to look! I'll try again later! :)

It is pretty easy to make baby food. I bought a "Magic Bullet" blender and used the small cup and cross blade. You just put the cooked and cooled veggies into the blender and if it is too thick add like a teaspoon of water. That's it!! Recycle some of your baby food containers for easy storing and portion control.
Hope that helps!!
reese,
i want some sugar please.

Making baby food is actually pretty easy. All you need it frozen or fresh veggies and a blender. I used mainly frozen except for sweet potatoes and butternut squash. GOOGLE it for different ideas and combinations. Before you start making your own you may want to try adding oatmeal to thicken the veggies. That seems to work for Olivia, sometimes. I have also been buying the mixed veggie foods-today she had a veggies with some kind of pasta mixed with it. Mom said she liked it a lot. Don't worry we've been dealing with the same food issues, if she would only eat like her mother:) Oh, after you puree the food put it in ice cube tray and freeze. 2-3 ice cubes is the same size as a gerber 2nd food. Good luck:)
i love how she's "helping" with the dishes!
