I haven't had time to update this week, so it's, once again, a weekly update!
Let's see...highlights from the week:
1. Monday - Wednesday were pretty uneventful. Clay works late Tuesday nights, so Reese and I have the house to ourselves. Wednesday was Clay's day off and he did great with Reese, even brought her up to school to visit mommy and her students.
2. Thursday was the last day of school! YAY! Since Clay usually works late every Friday and Saturday, we went out to eat on Thursday night to Ruby Tuesday in Kingsland. Reese slept the whole time and mommy and daddy enjoyed our 'date'!
3. Friday was post-planning at work. I worked my little fanny off and was exhausted at the end of the day! I went to a jewelry party at a friends house and enjoyed relaxing there and showing off my Reese.
4. Saturday was a sad day in the life of the Vanzants. We decided it was time...time for Bailey to go. When we adopted her almost 3 years ago from a rescue shelter, we agreed that if we ever wanted to get rid of her, we had to give her back. So earlier in the week, I emailed the lady and she said we could drop her off Saturday morning. I really hated doing it but, with Reese and Clay working late most nights, we really didn't have the time or energy to take care of her like we should, and that wasn't fair to Bailey. Her health isn't too good and we also didn't have the money to pursue that. So, she is better off! It would be nice if she could be adopted by an older couple who could just lay around with her all day.
I dropped Bailey off Saturday morning (it does feel good to clean my kitchen floors knowing that they won't get peed on again!). It's weird coming in the house and not having to immediately let the dog out. Kinda nice.
5. Saturday was also a happy day because we went car shopping and ended up making a purchase. We bought an '08 Toyota Camry. I wasn't sure about going from an SUV back to a car, but I LOVE it! It is SO roomy and exactly what I wanted! It's bright red - I guess I better slow down - aren't cops attracted to red cars!?! It actually has more room than my jeep did and the trunk space is crazy - the stroller fits perfectly with plenty of room to spare!
6. Sunday, today, Clay had to work and Reese and I went to church and then to Papa and Granny's for a delicious lunch. Reese and I took a long nap while we were there!
In other news, my moma, Carlee and Thomas are on their trip to Europe for 14 days - they left last Tuesday and I'm definitely missing them! We talked to them today and it was so good to hear from them. I know moma is missing us,...but especially Reese! We can't wait for them to get home, but hope they're having the time of their lives!
I took lots of pictures this week, I'm going to 'weed' through them and post a few...
Bathtime - she still enjoys (or tolerates) her bathtime. She just kinda 'chills' and lays really still.

Morning Time with Mommy...this week has been so hard to leave in the morning because she is always SO happy! I usually spend about 15 minutes talking to her while changing her clothes and getting her ready for the day. She is smiling and talking all the time now - it is precious!

Crib time - she LOVES to watch her mobile go around and around. But, watch out, when it stops, you better be ready to wind it up again before she gets mad!
