1. Reese LOVES to watch. And I love to watch her watch. And let me tell you, she remembers EVERYTHING. The other night, Clay had to re-screw the sectional where it hooks together and Reese was right up there trying to figure out how to do it herself. He walked out of the room to get additional screws and she scooted right up there, picked up the screwdriver and started doing exactly what she was supposed to do! She simply amazes me. Every.Single.Day.
2. I scored big when I went to Target this past week. I have been looking for a 'girly' shower curtain for Reese's bathroom and found one on clearance! And it wasn't even in the right section - it was randomly placed with the throw pillows. It was MEANT for me! I absolutely can't wait to put it up. I am going to pair pink and turquoise towels together for display and have a vinyl wall decal picked out that says, "Be your own kind of BEAUTIFUL". I've got to also find a picture for above the toilet and a flower arrrangement for the counter. Can't wait to redecorate! I will post pictures, promise.
3. I also hit some good deals for my shopping pleasure :) (even though my SOLE intention of even going to the mall was to buy Clay some work pants). New York and Company was having a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE on dress pants (which I need desperately!) and on their clearance BUY ONE GET TWO FREE! So, I stocked up on some work clothes and got some great deals! I had to confess to Clay, that no, he didn't get any new pants, and yes, I intended on shopping a little for myself.
4. I have a doctor appointment on Tuesday to try and figure out what's wrong with me. If you're my friend on facebook, you saw I was in the ER last Sunday with severe abdominal pain. The ignorant ER doctor ran EVERY test imaginable and never made a diagnosis. He did say he knew I had an infection because my white blood cell count was up (gave me a very painful shot of antibiotics), fluid in my lower abdomen and an enlarged right fallopian tube (where my pain was). So, I left there feeling loopy and frustrated and stressing about the ER bill I'll get in the mail in a few weeks. Hopefully my doctor will have some better answers on Tuesday.
5. Another piece of GREAT news I received this week was our IVF procedure will not cost as much as I initially thought. I finally called FIRM and got a breakdown of the costs and it put a smile on my face, for sure! Hopefully by summer, we'll have our finanaces in place and will get the ball rolling for my transfer. And thinking about being pregnant again makes my heart smile. REALLY.BIG!
And that's it for my very random, very miscellaneous post. Ya'll have a good weekend, mmmkay?
