Happy 1/2 Birthday to Reese!

I don't want this post to get too sappy, because I know certain ones reading this will have to find a tissue...but, today my little Reese is 6 months old. I can't believe how fast it flew by and how fast, just in the last few weeks, she has 'grown-up!' - crawling and saying 'mama'...

I heard not too long ago that we should record the 'newborn cry' because we'll soon forget it. I kinda freaked because I realized I didn't do that and I indeed HAD forgotten what it sounded like. So, I quickly pulled out the video camera and realized I had it - her first bath - she screamed all the way through it. It was truly music to my ears, and of course, I cried. It feels like yesterday, we were standing in the kitchen at the sink, giving her that bath.

Moving right along....my granny picked up a cute little cupcake for Reese so we could sing and celebrate 6 memorable months with Reese. She wasn't too sure what to think of it all and definitely wanted to dig into the cupcake. I let her play in the icing a bit but got her cleaned up before it could hit her mouth :) I know, mean mommy! (She's been having some stomach issues lately,..I'm talking about 5 to 6 poopy diapers a day - I didn't want to add to that madness!)
